Vanellope @ I Pink I Can 14/10/21

Before I get onto my blog on Vanellope I just want to reiterate once again what an amazing team of people that are the Anatine's and the army of supporters who have, and continue to do all that they can to raise money for Cancer research. I have said it before and I will say it again that there is none more inspiring than Jenny Anatine herself. This lady is a force to be reckoned with in her dedication to the cause and we should all stand up and applaud her for all that's she does. A lady with one hell of a HUGE heart. Jenny Anatine you are a true inspiration.

Vanellope, if I am correct came to find herself on the Music Speaks Management main stage at I PInk I Can at the last minute, offering her time after another artist had to cancel due to health reasons, so I am sure that this was a very special performance for her today and one that she will remember for doing her bit to help raise much needed funds to kick cancer to the curb.

I have seen Vanellope, or Van as we, her fans lovingly call her many a time, in fact I was at her very first show and gave her, her very first song request, so to see her grow as a performer and just take ownership of her SL stage is something that makes me very happy indeed, and she looked pretty damn sexy as well.

As always her show was so much fun as she mixed it up with tunes that included Blondie's "Call Me", Van Halen's "Jump" , Cher's "Do You Believe in Life After Love", Abba's "Dancing Queen", Cyndi Lauper's "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" and not to forget the classic Gloria. Her "She works hard for the money" had me conjuring up images from Flashdance due to that other song and sexy film clip but it was "You're The One That I Want" from my all time fave move Grease that me singing out loud and remembering that my daughter has a video still of me dancing around the kitchen using a fish scoop as a microphone....time for her to delete that. From high energy rock, to slow and sweet ballads Vanellope sings them all with such passion that you find yourself so lost in her music that before you know it the hour is over and you go huh...didn't I just get here??????

Once again a fantastic hour spent in great company listening to the wonderful Vanellope and watching the number of Lindens donated continue to rise. Thank you Vanellope and thank you Anatine's for all that you do.
