TSU @ The Mystic Muse 11/03/21
We hear music every day. It’s on the tv when we are watching the morning news while drinking coffee, it’s in the car on the way to work or dropping the kids at school, it’s in the supermarket when we do our grocery shopping, its when we are hanging out barbecuing with family and friends. It’s just there It has the ability to express our inner most emotions in a way that we often can’t and no matter what the occasion, whether it’s a celebration or a heartache, music is always with us throughout the journey that is life. There is one artist that has recently left me grappling for days to find the words to say how his music makes me feel. This artist is none other than TSU. TSU is an instrumental performer who combines native American style flutes, with guitars and other instruments to create a sound that has such a Zen like quality to it that I was feeling like I was floating in a world where there was nothing but peace, love and serenity. Those of us at The Mystic Muse that afternoon were doing tai chi while TSU played which only added to the feeling of total contentment and relaxation. It was like his music (mainly all original compositions) had seeped deep into the pores of those of us present and found a home. TSU, in a world that is chaotic, you are the one artist that we all need to listen to so we are reminded to slow down and just breathe for the world will continue to turn without us long after we are gone.

I am in another place.. a place in my childhood... takes me back to those imaginary worlds I used to live in when I was lonely
Its mellow and serene, a destress session that gets in your head
if they opened up their ears and shut off their minds they would get it
It’s like slipping into the groove like a stylus on a turntable
