Tillen Avers @ Kiss Me Hard Club 28/11/21

What do DTS bloggers do when we're not at shows? Well, I can't speak for the others, but I try and find new (to me) artists to share with you. My efforts were rewarded today when I stumbled on the sensational Tillen Avers, who hails from Moscow (which, based on her performance, I am now calling 'Musicow'), Russia. This amazing set, at the outdoor, ground level stage in the amazing, multi-venue Kiss Me Hard Club, started with a warm welcome from Tillen who plunged into a hour of surprises and delights with a Rad favorite "Dust In The Wind" from Kansas. She followed this sublime cover with soaring version of Scorpions "Still Loving You", the first of two Scorpions song in this sensational set.

After another brief welcome, and totally unnecessary apologies for her excellent English, Tillen covered two fantastic female singers. First was a beautifully done "Beautiful" by Christina Aguilera and then Pink's "Try", which could well be an anthem for SecondLife. She shifted effortlessly into her second Scorpion's song "You And I".

With all the talk of the ABBA virtual reunion, a lot of singers are adding the Swedish quartet to their play lists. Few do this as well as Tillen's "The Winner Takes It All". I've always appreciated the finality of this haunting lyric "No more ace to play, nothing left to say". She followed this song up with Aerosmith's fashion commentary, "Pink". So for those keeping track at home, you know Tillen's amazing vocal talents stretch from classic 70's rock, to metal, to female pop singers. What could possibly come next? Well, Ozzy Osbourne, of course! She knocked it out of the park with his "Dreamer".

Not content to own Western Music, Tillen took the time to introduce us to a Russian band, Gorky Park with their song "Stare". She concluded this amazing ambulation through musical genres with Pretty Reckless' "Just Tonight" and the Smash Mouth version "I'm A Believer", which gave her a full six decades of musical coverage. Truly an amazing journey.

Tillen is rock vocalist hailing from Moscow, Russia and brings her amazing vocal skills to Second Life. Her repertoire includes hits from well known bands such as Queen, Scorpions, Roxette, Nightwish, Evanescence, Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica, Deep Purple, Rainbow etc. She is currently and been performing with her own rock band around Moscow for the past 15 years. Since her very first show, she has captured every listener's attention and has already a very popular following. This is a performer that is no stranger to delivering a stellar performance in both worlds!

I hope you'll get out to see Tillen soon and The Kiss Me Hard Club is a great place to see her, or any of the great singers who grace their various stages!
