Savannah Rain Benelli @ Sheworthy Pub 11/5/21
I’ve been out in that other world (called Real Life) for a week in the beautiful state of Wisconsin, land of dairy, and soooo much cheese!! There’s nothing like being away, but it's so very nice to return to my home in second life. No question at all that I missed Neo, but I also missed my other friends and listening to the amazing singers of SL. Dropping my bags on the floor, I immediately yell out:
Trishia: Neo I'm home! Where are you?
Noooo Hiding from me!
Neo: I hear a voice from a distance...and rubbing my eyes I wake up from my nap on the back porch. "Hi hon I'm here on the back porch! Welcome home! Now before you tell me all about your vacation, let me tell you this, Savannah Rain is going live at Sheworthy Pub in about 15 minutes, and I know you said you love her - so what do you say?
Trishia: Well love, all my clothes are wrinkled and dirty, I have nothing to wear!
Neo: Ummm honey, you almost tripped over that box on the floor...aren't you a bit curious as to what's in it?
Trishia: Oh?? Let me open it...OMG how sweet babe...I love denim dresses!! I'll put it on and we will head on over...Thank you so much!!!
Trishia:
We arrive at the Sheworthy Pub just in time to see Savannah take the stage. Sheworthy Pub is owned by hitomi.tamatz and Annie Panties (Jadeeast). These two ladies always bring in such great entertainment, and their club has an inviting atmosphere. I love the bar that stands in the middle of the floor and the dances are some of the best.
Savannah Rain-Benelli launches into her set with "Say Something I’m Giving Up on You" by A Great Big World, followed by, "Boogie Shoes" by KC and the Sunshine Band. Looking around - Oh yes, we all have our boogie shoes on and are dancing up a storm!!
Neo:
Savannah set a love mood with, "I Love Chasing After You" by Ryan Hurd and Maren Morris and had me dancing a little closer with my lady.
Trishia:
How did Savannah know country is my favorite!! Her young beautiful voice really did honor to the tunes: "Boot Scootin Boogie" by Brooks and Dunn, and the trifecta tunes "Millionaire", "You Should Probably Leave, and "Broken Halos" by Chris Stapleton,
She took the George Strait song, "You Look So Good In Love" and made it really funny by changing it to - You look so good in mesh!! lol
"Cowboy Take Me Away" by the Dixie Chicks had me looking at Neo and wondering where his horse and cowboy hat were to take me away to my fantasy world!
Neo:
Savannah showed her versatility with an amazing version of the Callum Scott song, "You Are The Reason" and my request of the Bon Jovi song "Thank You For Loving Me"
Her "Your Love Amazes Me" by Michael English, and "Hiding My Heart Away" by Adele had us swaying slow and easy as we got lost in the amazing lyrics.
While we were a little sad to see the set end...we ambled off (well actually we teleported home) with thoughts of another evening well spent.
Savannah's Bio:
The first time I sang for a crowd , I was 6 years old on a coffee table shaking my pelvis like Elvis to Jail house Rock. I was hooked to the sound of laughter and applause, that's when I learned MUSIC makes people happy! I was 13 when I sang my first solo at church and saw tears of emotion overcome flushed faces, that's when I learned MUSIC makes people feel! After traveling for years across the southeast singing in churches and various other venues, I met a guitar picker, fell in love and had some babies, that's when I learned MUSIC brings people together! I continued for the next 8 years to sing at Weddings, Special events and Churches. Mostly I sang to my babies ♥
After discovering live music in Secondlife, five years ago, I was hooked and it has been my passion through my music to make you laugh, make you feel and bring us all together!
I love all kinds of music and I sing all kinds of music from Patsy Cline to Collective Soul. I REALLY wanna sing for y'all!
