Rocker @ Crabby's 05/03/21
Todays 6pm show of choice was Rocker at Crabby's and as I have been there a few times i knew that I could safely leave my shoes at home and dance barefoot in the sand. (although dancing barefoot at Crabby's can be detrimental to ones health as those crabs have sharp nippers) The night started off with a few technical difficulties for Rocker and his stream but that was quickly sorted and he got straight into playing, kicking off with the icons of southern rock Lynard Skynard - I know a little. It was one of those nights where you knew from the opening bars of the first song that you are in for a good time and Rocker didn't disappoint. He may have been regretting that he encouraged requests as it quickly turned into a request off between myself, Dremmy and Jase. His song list is quite extensive and covers a wide range so choosing what to request was half the fun. Rocker not only encouraged it, he loved it and played them all, having just as much fun, if not more than the rest of us, even when a few of the songs were ones he hadn't sung in a while. The songs ranged from Fleetwood Mac, The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, SRV, ZZ Top, Alice Cooper, Bob Seger Eric Clapton and The Allman Brothers. A really fun hour and one that I enjoyed immensely.. Rocker you have a fan in me.
