Vanellope @ The Woolshed 06/01/2022

Its no secret that The Woolshed, owned by my dear friend Spike Upshaw is my favourite Aussie venue on the grid. From the artists that play there to the people who attend, you are always in for a good time and a lot of laughs for Its not only a place that you will catch up with friends but a place where you are sure to make new ones. (cos you know us Aussies are a friendly bunch)

Tonight the crowd had gathered to hear one of the relatively newer artists on the grid, Vanellope. Van has only been singing in SL for about a year and as they say good music grows with age, like a fine wine it's gets better and better over time and this is certainly true about Vanellope. Every time that I hear her she has set the bar a little higher and pushed herself a little further artistically. She is sassy, she is beautiful, she laughs a lot and she strongly encourages audience participation during her sets but most of all she has one hell of a voice

As people kept coming in Van kicked off her set with a rockin version of the Scorpions Rock You Like a Hurricane, and she kept right on rocking with Bon Jovi's You Give Love A Bad Name and Living on A Prayer. She took a short break with Miley Cyrus' I Cant Be Tamed before launching into another from Bon Jovi, Always....was there a Bon Jovi fan in the crowd....looks at Spike!!!!! Hearts All I wanna Do Is Make Love To You took me for a walk down memory lane as song from our past often do. ( That song always makes me wonder about the chick that was married to a guy who couldn't give her kids so she had a one night stand and became pregnant)

My request had Vanellope rocking it out again with Joan Jetts I Hate Myself For Loving You, a song we can all relate to at times. Rhiannia's Diamonds, Blondies Heart Of Glass and Pussy Cat Dolls Jaiho finished up what was a great hour of music.

Vanellope plays all over the grid so keep your eye on events and get along to one of her show as soon as you can, also make sure you get along to the Woolshed for a great night of music with some great artists.
