Secondlife is (in)famous for high turnover. Many of us have experienced a plethora of here and gone friends, lovers and particularly music venues. It takes a lot to keep a venue going: tier, decorating, and if you have shows, coordinating with musicians, or managers and RL impacts are every day concerns. So when you come across a venue that has been around for SIXTEEN YEARS, you know you've got something special. When that venue regularly produces great shows, fun and exciting events, and is home some of the most beautiful souls you're likely to run across, then is a thing to really appreciate. Such is BBW Heaven, currently managed by the irrepressible Yvie Caproni and her amazing staff. Recently BBW Heaven celebrated its Sweet 16 birthday. And what a celebration it was. Dropping The Stream was on hand for the final show of the evening, the amazing Samm Qendra.

Samm opened the show with the SL classic "Watermelon Sugar High", and followed that up with Beth Hart's "Caught Out In The Rain". Then Samm knocked it out of the park (and across the beach and over the breakers) with ABBA's songs "I Have A Dream" followed by Adele's "Go Easy On Me". Samm had everyone swooning when she broke into The Bee Gees "Too Much Heaven". That's like saying too much BBW or too much Samm. Crazy talk. Her perfect delivery of Sade's "By Your Side" made everyone look around for a side to be by.

Then Samm really honored the spirit of BBW with "All about the Base" and brought us in for a smoooooth landing Robin Thicke's "Lost Without U". By the time she finished up her 1/3 of the 3 hour BBW Heaven Sweet Sixteen Party, Samm had everyone swaying or swooning.

Samm is just a simple, ordinary girl who loves to sing. She's always believed that everything that comes from the heart touches the heart, with that said she sings songs she can connect to most of the times. It's lovely when she can make her audience understand every word she said in her singing, it's like story telling. Effecting a person's life with her music is what she is here for.

Her first musical influence was her father, he's not a famous musician nor a professional musician, but since she was a kid she has always watched him play his piano and he's the one who been teaching her how to sing growing up to make her who she is now.
